An Exclusive Night in Atlanta Celebrating Lil Baby’s Inspiring Documentary Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby at Regal Atlantic Station

I had a wonderful evening out in Atlanta yesterday! Prime Video invited me to an exclusive advance screening of Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby, the latest documentary about the rapper’s life. The event took place at Regal Atlantic Station, and I was amazed by the massive turnout—it was packed wall to wall! Security was everywhere, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The crowd was buzzing with big names in the music industry, including executives from Motown and Quality Control Records, among others. Lil Baby himself graced the red carpet alongside his family and his eldest son, 7-year-old Jason. Watching the documentary was a powerful experience—it gave an intimate look into Lil Baby’s journey, his struggles, achievements, and pivotal life choices.

One fascinating takeaway from the film was how Lil Baby initially had no interest in becoming a rapper. He was more focused on hustling in the streets, which brought him more money at the time. However, he decided to give music a shot, and that one decision changed the course of his life forever.

After the screening, I spoke with Quality Control Records Executive Pierre ‘P’ Thomas about the film. He shared that it delivers an important message he hopes will resonate with viewers.

The evening continued with a private celebration at Bowlero Atlantic Station, where the entire bowling alley was reserved for the event. Guests enjoyed a fantastic spread of food, an open bar, games, bowling, and more. It was an incredible night, and now you can catch the documentary too—Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby is streaming on Amazon Prime Video!
