Joe Budden asserts that Lil Wayne created a diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar following Kendrick’s decision not to answer his call

Kendrick Lamar shocked everyone when he released his new record, GNX, last week. People on social media were in a mess because the project showed up with no warning. He talks about a lot of things that his fans have been wanting to hear his thoughts on. As of now, this includes his performance at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in Louisiana, which was first mentioned in September. A lot of people didn’t like the news because they thought Lil Wayne, who is from New Orleans, should have had the chance.

During the uproar, Weezy himself went online to say that he was upset about what seemed to be an insult. “That hurt, it hurt a lot…” He said, “I thought that spot on that stage and that platform was the best there was.” “It broke me, but I’m just pulling myself together again.” It’s clear that Kendrick didn’t like this, and he talked about it in his song “wacced out murals.”

“Used to bump Tha Carter III, I held my Rollie chain proud/ Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down,” he says later. “Won the Super Bowl and Nas the only one congratulate me.” Finally, Joe Budden said that Lil Wayne tried to call Kendrick because of the song. He didn’t answer, though, which is too bad. Buddy said that this made Lil Wayne change how he did things.

“I’m hearing that somebody picked up the phone, tried to call and see what the energy was, I’m hearing that Kendrick didn’t answer,” he stated. “I’m hearing that Wayne went in the booth.” Budden and his co-hosts then talked about whether Lil Wayne had a chance against Kendrick, especially since the Compton rapper has been on a high for a while now. Of course, we still don’t know when or if the claimed diss track will ever come out.
