“He’s in good spirits and staying positive” — An associate of Lil Durk shares an alleged jail call with the rapper, who refutes claims of being in protective custody

A friend of Lil Durk recently shared an audio clip of what is said to be a jail call with the rapper. This could be the first time he talks to the public since being caught last month. Lil Durk was arrested by the federal government on October 24 and charged with murder-for-hire of Quando Rondo. Lul Pab was killed when he was caught in the gunfire and killed.

Five people with ties to Durk’s OTF group were also arrested hours after the All My Life rapper was arrested. David Brian Lindsey (aka Browneyez), Deandre Dontrell Wilson (aka DeDe), Asa Houston (aka Boogie), Kavon London Grant (aka Vonnie), and Keith Jones (aka Flacka) are some of these people.

On November 15, an Instagram user named @900bruhbruh posted about what he said to Lil Durk while he was in jail. During their two-minute chat, the artist told the user that he was feeling good. The post’s caption said, “Just got off the phone with my bro @lildurk. He’s in a good mood, staying upbeat, and working hard to get back home to his kids and family…We’re not praising bad moods; we’re not just street guys. That’s not quite right; we’re men of honor and code no matter how much money we have. Bro, hit the Mainline with the rest of our kind…”NO PC.”Lil Durk also said that he was treated pretty well in jail and wasn’t in protective custody during the call.

We don’t know how Durk is linked to @900bruhbruh, but the rapper’s Instagram posts show a link to Durk’s OTF label. Based on his posts, it looks like he has worked with OTF rappers like Bonnie Moe. Besides that, he has shared pictures with Booka 600 and Durk.

This is a post from 2022 where the rapper thanks Lil Durk for helping him do well.

“Two years ago today, I was in the “back seat” performing skitz. Now I’m “back stage” performing on tour—as solid as they come.” @lildurk It said “4eva LOYAL BROS” in the description.
