Morgan Wallen isn’t racist, according to Lil Durk, who wants to make sure he isn’t the only rapper to collaborate with him. He even wants Kendrick Lamar and others to join him.
Just over a year after the country music artist was caught using the n-word in public, we caught up with Lil Durk on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Tuesday to ask him if Kendrick should record a song with Morgan.According to Lil Durk, who is endorsing Morgan, the two had a lengthy conversation over the subject when penning their latest popular tune, “Broadway Girls.”
Morgan has made it clear that he would want to collaborate with Kendrick Lamar and other legendary rappers, and Lil Durk thinks the two should certainly get together as soon as possible.
We all know that in February, one of Morgan’s neighbors recorded him uttering the n-word following a wild night out with friends, and TMZ got their hands on the footage. The country musician faced immediate backlash from the business, which resulted in his exclusion from award presentations and the cessation of his music being played on radio stations.
Morgan is making a comeback on the radio, and Lil Durk thinks it’s over now. By the way, he is completely against discussing the topic of cancellation with his new acquaintance.
Durk gives his emphatic approbation in his full comments, which you should read in their whole.
The question of who will play at Durk and India Royale’s impending wedding is one that he is letting someone else decide. Impressive intellect!
