The hip-hop media are still talking about and speculating about Lil Durk’s arrest by the federal government for allegedly plotting to kill people for money. Not long ago, Wack 100 and DJ Vlad did another chat on VladTV, where they talked about this issue and all of its moving parts. We won’t go into too many details about their talk because they made accusations and assumptions that were not based on facts. If you want to hear more, you can watch the interview clip below. Basically, Wack linked what were said to be informants in OTF to this alleged murder-for-hire based on what other friends said.
For those who don’t know, rumors are going around based on what are thought to be court papers that say there was an informant in OTF who gave information to the federal government for two years. It is said that this person spent about 12 years in jail and then got out. Even though these reports use court records, more could come out that would either prove or disprove this claim. In any case, five other people who were reportedly members of the OTF were arrested by federal authorities. They were said to have tried to kill Quando Rondo with money from Lil Durk, according to the charges.
Fans have been looking back at Lil Durk’s old songs and hearing him talk about street life in a different setting. It’s important to remember, though, that there hasn’t been a trial yet, so these are just accusations. Social media showed an old video of Wallo telling the Chicago rapper to forgive the people who killed his family and “make it out” of his position. Fans tied this to the idea that the hit on Quando Rondo was meant to get back at him for killing King Von.
In 2022, a shooting near Quando Rondo killed his cousin Lul Pab. It is this murder that federal officials are now looking into in relation to Lil Durk. Rondo recently seemed to talk about Durk’s arrest on Instagram, but he didn’t name Durk. It was a call to help people forgive and get past the fights on the street that have caused so much pain and suffering.
