It’s no secret that Megan Thee Stallion and DaBaby have made some great songs together. Unfortunately, though, it’s not clear if they will ever do it again. When he released his record Baby On Baby 2 in 2022, he said some very mean things about “BOOGEYMAN.” His main claim was that he slept with Meg right before Tory Lanez shot her.

“The day before she said that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f*ckin’ on Megan Thee Stallion,” he says. “Waited to say that sh*t on my next album/ Hit it the day before too.” It wasn’t long ago that Meg called him out for retweeting a joke about the killing. Even so, DaBaby wants to work with her again because he doesn’t think any of her other projects are as good as the ones they’ve made together in the past.

During his latest appearance on Drink Champs, he said, “I got love for Meg.” “Me and Meg did some sick stuff together.” It’s good to see her get through the hard times. I’m making a song happen with Glo, Meg, Baby, and me. That seems like the best way for Meg and me to get back out. Because I don’t think any of these jerks—and I mean no offense—that you’re making songs with can really embody that. He also said that he doesn’t have any bad things to say about Meg or any other Black women in the business.
