Recently, Nivea B. Hamilton talked about her friendship with rapper Lil Wayne and why she was leaving the music business on Kandi Burruss’s YouTube show That Note.
She talked about how she got away from a paedophile boss who had a sexual relationship with her for years when she was a teenager and he was in his 40s.
She says that when she left that relationship, Lil Wayne told her she didn’t need to be in a relationship because he would take care of her.
Nivea says that Wayne, who fathered her son Neal Carter, told her to quit singing when she was at the top of her game.
“He told her, “Come be with me.” She also said, “I got you.” She then wrote a letter to her record company telling them she was leaving music.
„I had no idea that I had done something so great or that people knew who I was. “I get too excited about love, and I’ll drown in the other person,” she said.
After leaving music, Nivea got married to Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., and became a mother. Soon after getting married, the young couple began to have troubles.
The singer’s second wife, Toya Johnson, who is the mother of his 22-year-old daughter Reginae Carter, moved into the house they were living in so that Lil Wayne could move his family into an apartment.
“I’m just sitting there, like a housewife…” Nivea said, “And you know, Reginae Carter was very young.” “All of a sudden—this is funny—he said, ‘I never stayed in an apartment before. Okay, let’s get an apartment. “So we move out of the house and into an apartment. But I had no idea that he did that to get Toya Johnson back into the house.”
Lil Wayne and she broke up two years later. She married The Dream, and he married Toya.
