Cardi B claims she was ‘chosen by God’ to become famous: “I Was Picked By Jesus”

Cardi B doesn’t care about the hate that people say about her because, as she put it, “a higher power chose her and protects her in her position.”

The Bronx superstar told fans on Instagram Live from the studio on Wednesday night (October 9) that she’s been getting a lot of “weird” energy lately. She also said that anyone who is mean to her will get ten times what they put out.

She said, “You’re going to go through crap because you fucked with me.” “Do you want to know why?” It’s not because I’m a witch like you all think I am because I’m Dominican and you think I do black magic. It’s not because I’m fucking holy. I was chosen by God! “I’m really a child of God.”

“You want to know how I know I’m anointed?” she asked. How many fat asses and how many rap skills do you think there are in America and the rest of the world? And God picked ME to be well-known!”In related news, Cardi B is upset that she is being sued for not paying the rental fee for the mansion that she used in her music video for “Like What.” She says she has the papers to show that she did pay, but the lawsuit is still going on.

Damages of $35,000 are being sought in the lawsuit, which says that Cardi and Offset (who directed the video) planned to use the property “without paying full market value.”

A court document says that the couple, who are currently divorcing and aren’t getting along, hired the mansion secretly and “under the false pretense” that it was to film a TikTok video.

The Beverly Hills mansion is very fancy and has been hired by Justin Bieber and has been in a Logan Paul music video.

Cardi strongly denies the claims and responds to the case on X by writing, “We paid those people $10,000 IN CASH to rent the property for 24 hours, from 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning, and we went over by ONE hour, which we paid the realtor extra for in March.” All over the place there were cameras, and both the owners and the salespeople were there the WHOLE time…

“I took pictures and videos of them on set!!” Now they want to get out of paying us by saying we told them it was a TikTok video, even though that wasn’t in the contract and they didn’t even get to hear the whole song or see how long we were filming…Why would we need 24 hours to make a TikTok? People want to find ways around the rules and get away with it, but IRON YOUR BEST SUIT BITCH, I’ll see you in court!!!!

The Bronx rap star also shared screenshots of text messages she sent to Offset to set up the rental of the property, along with proof that she paid the real estate agent $4,500.
