Moneybagg Yo has unveiled exciting details about his upcoming album, Speak Now, hinting at guest features from Chris Brown and Lil Durk among other surprises.

On Saturday (June 8), Moneybagg shared a snippet of his interaction with Lil Durk about his contribution to the album. In an Instagram post, the “Run It Up” rapper revealed a text message exchange with the Chicago artist, captioning it: “Dat N-gga @lildurk Sent Me A Verse Back In Less Than 20 mins Of Me Sending It To Em Da Night Before I Had To Turn My Project In And Its 1 of Dem Classic Day 1 Smurk Verses [four fire emojis, four yelling emojis]. #SPEAKNOW JUNE 14th [eyes emoji, grimacing emoji].”

Speak Now isn’t the only new music Moneybagg Yo has planned for 2024. Earlier this month, the Memphis native took to X (formerly Twitter) to update fans on his next two projects, with the second targeting a specific audience.
“June 14th First Album For My Core Fan Base I Went Ghоst 2 yrs so I owe yall dat!” he wrote. “??/??/24 Second Album For My Female Fan Base My #1 Fans Melodic Vibes. THIS RUN BOUTA BE CRAZYYY.”
Back in May, the 32-year-old rapper announced that he had finally secured the last crucial feature for Speak Now. Taking to social media, he wrote: “Just Got A Crazyyyyy Feature In I Couldn’t Drop This Project Without Now Everything Locked In Fasho sho Its Worth Da Wait (looking emoji, lock emoji, fire emoji).” This post is likely referring to the recently teased Durk verse.
Prior to this, Moneybagg revealed the album’s cover art, stating: “To Every Action There’s A Reaction, Timing Is Everything And Information Is Power Im In Raw Form Aint No Cut On This SҺit This For My Day 1 Core Fan Base The Ones Who Was There Since The Beginning!!”
Speak Now will be the “Bussin” hitmaker’s fifth studio album, following 2021’s A Gangsta’s Pаin, and his first full-length release since last year’s Hard To Love mixtape.
