Future says that going from “MIXTAPE PLUTO” to having three No. 1 songs on the “Billboard” 200 chart in 2024 is “crazy work”

The magazine said on Sunday (Sept. 29) that Future’s third No. 1 album in 2024 is MIXTAPE PLUTO. The album had 17 songs and, even though it didn’t have any guests, it sold 129,000 album-equivalent units in the United States.

The news source said that 118,500 of the total amount came from SEA units, which are on-demand official streams, and 10,000 came straight from album sales. It was Atlanta artist Metro Boomin’s third album to do that this year. The first two were his joint projects with Metro Boomin, WE DON’T TRUST YOU and WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU.

Future now has the same number of No. 1 songs on the 200 chart as Eminem and Ye, eleven. It’s interesting that Drake is only two spots ahead of JAY-Z, who is three places ahead. The “Mask Off” singer has 15 on the Hot 100, but that’s a whole different game. His most recent single, “Like That,” came out in March.

Tomorrow celebrated on Instagram by writing, “OH S**T! It’s crazy work to get three No. 1s. A lot of people really liked the songs on MIXTAPE PLUTO. Some of them are “PLUTOSKI,” “LIL DEMON,” and “TEFLON DON.” There were reports that Travis Scott and Gunna were on the project before the full-length came out. These rumors were mostly fueled by early leaks and teasers.

“WE DON’T TRUST YOU was more about building the universe because people were only expecting one album. That’s how we planned it to be.” Metro said earlier this year, “I think WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU has the most songs I’ve usually had on an album.”

Over the course of 42 tracks, the team gave fans hits like “All to Myself” with The Weeknd, “Type S**t” with Playboi Carti and Scott, and many more. While Future and the producer went on tour to promote both albums, the founder of Freebandz has not yet announced a tour for MIXTAPE PLUTO.
