After breaking up with Halle Bailey, DDG has been on quite the breakup tour, what with his argument with Joe Budden and the most recent episode of “No Ordinary Podcast.” The “Moonwalking in Calabasas” rapper made it clear on Monday night (Oct. 7) that, despite reports, he doesn’t plan to find another girlfriend unless The Little Mermaid actress wants to try again.
“I’m not seeing anyone.” “I don’t have a possible girlfriend, and I don’t even think about that,” DDG said on his Twitch show. “I don’t want to date anyone else besides Halle.” There is no other way.
“I don’t want more than one baby mama.” That’s not what I want. As I said, we’re going to take a break. After this, I’m going to pick up my son. “Let me live my life,” he added.
Since he announced the breakup earlier this month, DDG hasn’t stopped talking about it. He said that dating was like having a “part-time job” on an episode of the “No Ordinary Podcast” on October 3. He later got into a fight with Budden for talking about the relationship. Bailey hasn’t said anything about it either.
“Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways after giving it a lot of thought and having some very deep conversations.” It wasn’t easy to make this choice, but we think it’s the best thing for both of us. “I love the love we’ve shared and the time we’ve spent together,” DDG wrote on Instagram.
The artist from Michigan worked with G Herbo on the song “Nosey” in September. The song used a sample from Project Pat’s “If You Aint From My Hood.” The duet might be on his next album, which will also have songs like “Trickin'” and “Shoot Up Your Block,” but the release date hasn’t been set yet.
