Iman Shumpert Sets Record Straight On Amber Rose Dating Rumors, Claims They’re Just Friends Despite Being Caught Being Affectionate On Miami Beach

Iman Shumpert is sticking to his claim that Amber Rose and he are merely friends, even though they were pictured together on a Miami beach last month.

When TMZ cornered the former NBA player in New York City, they questioned him about the relationship.

Shumpert denied that his relationship with Rose was romantic, saying, “We went to College Hill [Celebrity Edition] together.” “I understand, but at any other time, you guys would have just let us eat.”

Shumpert was probably alluding to the fact that he recently become single after his divorce from Teyana Taylor was finalized this past summer.

Dasia Nicole, a close friend of Taylor’s, is probably not going to be placated by his denials.

Nicole criticized Shumpert and Rose in a scathing Instagram comment after pictures of them together were made public.

“I think this is hilarious because you and your friends made fun of me for snooping on the sly activities that were taking place while Teyana and her children were on the same boat on New Year’s Eve, and I was right!” she wrote. “This supports my argument, and the following day you want to be crying on that girl’s phone.”

“You played a fucking game, but my friend has been nothing but graceful throughout,” she said. Teyana I apologize for getting so personal, but I’m sick of being the good guy. You have exerted every effort to preserve this man and his reputation.

“@amberrose I wish you would deny it for these blogs because I recorded the entire conversation!” Nicole then spoke directly to Amber Rose. He was good and married when this thing began, but you guys are making excuses for him being single. What a cliche!

Only a few months have passed since Taylor and Shumpert’s divorce was finalized, and according to reports, the R&B singer received a seven-figure settlement as part of the deal.

Taylor first filed for divorce in early 2023, alleging that during their seven-year marriage, her ex-husband had been “emotionally and mentally abusive” to her and had been unfaithful on numerous occasions.

Shumpert refuted the accusations, saying Taylor had not offered any evidence to support them. Additionally, he asked the court to amend their divorce reason to “irretrievable broken bond.”

The ex-couple, who were married in 2016, has two daughters together.
