Million-selling boy group SEVENTEEN is being boycotted by fans because of their collaboration plan with DJ Khaled, who is related to tycoon Diddy

Fans were shocked when SEVENTEEN announced on October 1, 2024, that they would be working with DJ Khaled on their new record SPILL THE FEELS. With a screen recording of a message from the American DJ and producer, they announced the work together on their official X account (@pledis_17). When DJ Khaled told the crowd that he had added his “signature sound,” which he called “fire,” he was very excited.

But when fans saw the video, a lot of them were upset and worried about DJ Khaled’s part in it. Fans of SEVENTEEN, called “Carats,” didn’t react to the news in the way that you’d normally expect from a big partnership like this one. An important number of fans said they weren’t too happy about Khaled being in the video.

Some fans went so far as to ask the group to apologize for working with the record artist. They said the feature didn’t fit with what they thought SEVENTEEN’s songs would be like. @lvz4won wrote on X that they “only care about the band” and were alerting people to the fact that Khaled was “problematic.””can we agree that some of us aren’t 100% okay with this collab?,” a friend said.”Come on, why are you putting up with this in the first place?” “WE ONLY WANT SEVENTEEN,” said another person.”so who’s gonna do us a favor and edit out dj khaled like twice alcohol free without the jyp,” a fan said.

People who like the group have been upset that DJ Khaled will be on their new album SPILL THE FEELS. Some fans were angry that Khaled hadn’t said anything about the current conflict between Israel and Palestine, while others were worried because he was friends with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The second person is currently facing major legal charges.

“Thank God someone said it!” Don’t let it fool you. DJ Khaled is not a good guy. The fact that he is friends with Diddy should be a big red flag! “Also, the fact that he’s Palestinian and has done NOTHING about the GENOCIDE of his people,” a fan said.”I’m sorry, but I’m not as excited about this right now.” “I love Seventeen so much, but I hope they don’t get involved in any problems that are only about DJ Khaled,” an X user said.”Stop featuring these people, research who you’re collabing with before you collab im begging..,” a writer said. Many SEVENTEEN fans think that working with the American DJ and producer could hurt the group’s reputation and are asking them to think again.Pledis Entertainment, the group’s management company, announced that they will be back with their 12th mini album, SPILL THE FEELS, coming out on October 14, 2024. The record comes after the success of 17 IS RIGHT HERE, which came out in April.

Jeonghan and Jun will not be able to take part in the raises because they have to serve in the military and act in China, respectively.

There will be six different versions of the actual album, two KiT versions and a Weverse Album version. Before going to the U.S., Japan, and other parts of Asia, the group will play two shows at Goyang Sports Complex Stadium in South Korea as part of their RIGHT HERE world tour.
