Lil Baby names Lil Durk as a shining example when offering guidance on what it takes to succeed in the music business

In a frank conversation with a new influencer, Lil Baby discussed what it takes to make it big in the music industry.

Baby gives an apparent straightforward response to the interviewer’s plea for advice in a video released by Stakkzz, a content developer from South Florida. The secret to success, according to Wham, is “stay grinding,” or working consistently. “Keep going. Either tomorrow or in four years, you may explode. The meter is absent from it.”

When asked again about his social media consistency, the Atlanta rapper responds with the same self-assuredness: “It’s different strokes for different folks.” Posting too much or too little is possible at times. Therefore, there is no correct response; you must simply follow your fan base.

Lil Baby also referenced Lil Durk as a prime example of perseverance in the industry, further emphasizing the importance of consistency and determination in achieving success.

Although Lil Baby has had a lot of success in recent years, he has also had his fair share of setbacks.

Following the shooting death of Chad Dillon, his business partner at an Atlanta restaurant, he turned to social media late last month to express his grief. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, on Tuesday (July 23), 33-year-old Dillon was shot and killed in a popular neighborhood of Atlanta. Police discovered his body in his car.

Along with other Atlanta favorites including Boiler Seafood and Crab Boil, Dillon was a co-owner of The Seafood Menu with Lil Baby. Not only that, but he owned the city’s first Black seafood restaurant. There have been no publicly announced suspects or motives, and police are still actively hunting for the shooter.

The late restaurateur was a cornerstone of the community, and many paid respect to him, including Baby.

“Damn big buddy get ya rest [dove emoji],” he captioned a photo of the two of them on Instagram Stories.
