On his 56th birthday, Jaden Smith stole some of his father’s limelight.
On August 25, Will Smith’s son Jada Pinkett Smith posted a video to Instagram of a man hanging up a billboard that seemed to be an announcement for the 26-year-old’s upcoming musical effort.
“2024: An Examination of the Prolonged Impacts of Adolescent Love” October 18,’ Jaden wrote in his post, without elaborating on the nature of the initiative.
Many fans believe it to be the eagerly anticipated album they have been waiting for, although Jaden has been evasive when asked about it in recent interviews.
Notably, neither Jaden nor Willow Smith nor Jada publicly wished his father a happy 56th birthday at the time of his announcement of this private information.
It would be Jaden’s first album in four years if the poster indeed portends a new release.
When he recently spoke with High Snobiety, the question of whether a new album was being worked on came up.
‘What album?’ he said in response, then gave fans a preview of what to expect from his upcoming musical phase.
“I’m simply attempting to carry on the narrative,” he clarified. “That’s the crux of the matter.”
This case study examines the enduring consequences of adolescent love. In addition, I’ve been pondering on my own life and all that has happened to me.
“And now I’m prepared to begin sharing what I’ve discovered.”
There have been rumors recently that Jaden and Sab Zada, his four-year girlfriend, broke up after he was seen with French social media personality Khleopatre.
Recently, Dad Will has also been practicing his musical skills. A video of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air dancing with a man who resembles him identically was posted by the star.
Indeed, admirers remarked in the comments that the doppelgänger resembled Will “more than Will himself.”
Earlier this year, Will released his first single since 2017, “You Can Make It,” as part of his comeback.
Additionally, Will was the featured performer at Rock in Rio, where he debuted his most recent track, Work of Art—the first joint effort between Will and Jaden.
In 2005, the vocalist of “Parents Just Don’t Understand” released her last album, Lost and Found.
