On Wednesday, September 25, the Smith family had a busy day since, in addition to celebrating his 56th birthday, patriarch Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith also revealed that a new project was in the works.
The youngest Willow Smith is currently making her mark as well; the fashionista and young musician was spotted in the front row at an event during Paris Fashion Week to celebrate the launch of Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025.
She was spotted wearing an eye-catching, barely-there all-black ensemble, embracing the new “naked” fashion trend, during the Wednesday night Acne Studios event in the City of Lights.
Willow donned a full-sleeved fur coat with detachable sleeves and a voluptuous collar, combined with a black bra and high-waisted pants.
She accessorized her appearance with tight braids in her hair, sheer stockings, thigh-high black stockings with strappy heels, and black eyeglasses with cat eyes. Her eyebrows were bleached for glitz, and she accessorized with a glossy nude lip and a soft smokey eye.
Fans responded to her social media posts with comments like “Very hot very hot,” “Young wild and free,” and “This is very classy jazzy coded and I love it.” She also shared some outtakes from the look.
Additionally, the visit occurs the night before her most recent studio album’s deluxe edition is re-released. Three more tracks from her critically acclaimed jazz-influenced sixth album, Empathogen, will be published at midnight ET on Friday, September 27 (at 9 PM PT the previous day).

During the development of her previous album, 2022’s Coping Mechanism, Willow experienced bitterness and heartbreak. In contrast, she talked openly about creating this album during a recent interview with Dazed (which was also a critical success).
She described her emotional condition at the moment as “deeply heartbroken.” “I was just in a poor place, and I was going blackout drunk virtually every session for that album. I was not feeling well.”

She continued, saying, “I wouldn’t want to make an album in that way, ever again,” admitting that although she was happy with the record that came out, the creative process had a negative impact on her mental state.
Willow remembers Empathogen, on the other hand, as being entirely sober when she made it and was inspired by nature (she has talked about trekking with her pets more and more). “I made the decision to give up this attitude of ‘woe is me, everyone’s against me.'” It’s time to dig a little deeper and discover your own self.”
She spoke about the future and imagined a life filled with love and healing, while also looking back with fondness on her recent efforts. “I want to be someone who creates a loving community.”
