The daughter of George Floyd and Lil Baby had a party for her seventh birthday on Wednesday. The party was held at the musician’s home in Atlanta, where he grew up, and was decorated with flowers and other fancy things.

In the background, there looked to be a spread of sweets for the happy event, which comes at the end of a terrible year for her family. The rapper, whose real name is Dominique Jones, threw a party with a room set aside for getting hair and nails done.

Jackson was an activist who promised to take care of Floyd’s family after he died. “Georgie, look at these smiles,” he said. “We got you, bro.”

Derek Chauvin, a former police officer, kneeled on the back of George Floyd’s neck while he was handcuffed on May 25 in Minneapolis. Floyd, a 46-year-old security guard, was unable to breathe, and the horrible incident was caught on video.Officers who were arresting Floyd said he fit the description of a person suspected of forgery. When they tried to take him into custody, Floyd fought them. In the video that went with it, Chauvin could be seen putting his knee on the back of Floyd’s neck while Floyd begged him to stop.

 

“Please, please, please, I can’t breathe… please, man, my stomach hurts, my neck hurts, everything hurts…” Floyd said, “I can’t breathe.” He later died while being held by cops.

They were all fired from the police force and are now being charged with Floyd’s death: Chavin has been charged with murder and manslaughter. His coworkers Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J. Alexander Kueng have also been charged with murder and manslaughter with their help.
