Jayda Cheaves is speaking out after being seen with Lil Baby, setting the record straight about their encounter.

Here’s what happened and how Jayda Cheaves responded:

On Wednesday, April 10, The Shade Room obtained footage from Instagram user @crownemary_cuisine. The clip showed Cheaves standing up from a restaurant table and exiting the aisle, with Lil Baby nearby following her as they left the restaurant.

 

 

The clip was captioned, “ran into Lil Baby & Jayda…”

As the footage circulated, Cheaves took to Snapchat to address a user who speculated that she was back together with Lil Baby. She clarified that they were only having lunch together and criticized those making assumptions about their relationship.

 

“Y’all are dragging it real bad… Y’all act like y’all caught us f*****g or walking out a dаmn hotel. Y’all better leave me tf alone. Weird аss lady recording us at lunch…” she wrote in one post on Snapchat.

In additional posts, Cheaves asserted her independence, stating that she is free to interact with whomever she pleases and emphasizing that she has been single for a year.
