Meek Mill recently clarified his relationship with Drake and Kendrick Lamar during a Q&A on social media. When asked about his top West Coast rappers, Meek included Kendrick in his list, praising him as one of the most lyrically effective artists of his era.

Responding to questions about his connection with Drake, Meek emphasized that the feud between Drake and Kendrick has nothing to do with him, and he respects both. Despite his statements, some believe Meek played a role in fueling the rivalry between Drake and Kendrick, especially due to his past feud with Drake.

Media personality Akademiks further suggested that Meek’s actions during his 2015 feud with Drake, particularly his decision to tweet about Drake using ghostwriters rather than releasing a diss track, might have indirectly contributed to the growing tension between Drake and Kendrick. 

Akademiks also criticized Meek’s handling of the situation, claiming that Meek missed an opportunity to capitalize on his battle-rap prowess during his feud with Drake, which allowed Drake to gain confidence in his lyrical battles.

While Meek distances himself from the conflict between the two rap giants, speculation continues about the extent of his influence on their rivalry.
