Jada Pinkett Smith made her Instagram private after posting that ‘A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told she MUST belong to someone or… she is unworthy’

Jada Pinkett Smith has blocked access to her Instagram account.

Over the weekend, the actress, 52, made the decision to make her Instagram profile private to the general public.

Her choice came after she shared a photo of a text that stated, “A man can CHOOSE to belong to someone,” on Monday, September 2. And he is seen as noble if he succeeds. It is said to a woman that she MUST belong to someone or else she is unworthy.

The caption for the post said: “The goddess is left helpless in the absence of her male counterpart even in some of our great religious traditions. Furthermore, in some, the feminine, or Mother, has an invisible spiritual impact.”

“Just by virtue of our existence, we mortal women are worthy! And if we so CHOOSE to bond with someone from this space, those of us who have nurtured our Queendom within our inner kingdom and have a close relationship with the Great Supreme will build tremendous love and bear treasures “the caption added. We don’t have to bond over fear. You truly are awesome. Walk with that this Monday 🫂️.”

She formally bid summer farewell on Sunday, September 1, with the release of an Instagram carousel.

Her collection of images included a video of her and an unnamed male riding a jet ski together as well as a selfie near the beach.

“My heart has been blossoming in so many ways as the summer draws to a close. Too excited to share. Until then.”I’m simply relishing the final moments of summer,” she said as the photo’s description.

Fans and followers, however, questioned about the identity of the mysterious individual; some even made the joke that it was Will Smith.

Almost a year after Pinkett Smith told PEOPLE all about her relationship with the Bad Boys: Ride or Die star, she has been active on Instagram. In the fall, when her biography Worthy was being released, she declared, “I’m going to be by his side” regarding their relationship.

After getting married on New Year’s Eve in 1997, the pair has been together for 26 years and has two kids: a daughter, Willow, 23, and a son, Jaden, 26. Along with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino, the King Richard actor has a 31-year-old son named Trey.

Regarding her marriage to Smith, Pinkett Smith disclosed that they had been split up since 2016 and that they were “still figuring it out”.

She continued, “We’ve been working together on some really heavy-duty stuff.” “We’re going to discover what true love looks like for each other because we recently fell deeply in love.”
