Big Sean Cries While Offering Update Regarding New Album: “I’ve Been Having A Hard Time Lately”

Big Sean got teary-eyed when he talked about his upcoming record Better Me Than You. It will be out this week.

On August 26, the Detroit rapper shared news about his long-awaited sixth album on Instagram Live. During the live video, he broke down in tears and said he’s having trouble with “overthinking.””I always think too much.” I work nonstop all the time. And I’ve really been having a hard time lately. It hasn’t been simple… It’s worth it, though.

It’s all about the idea of “Better Me Than You,” so when you’re going through a rough patch, it makes you feel like you can handle it. It gets tough. “Your faith is put to the test,” he said, struggling not to cry.Sean turned away from the camera and finally left the room to calm down after being quiet for a while.

He later came back and continued talking about how hard it was to make his new record and deal with negative feedback: “When you make art, you put a lot into it.” I definitely spend too much time working and thinking, and I’ve been making a big deal out of it my whole life.I don’t try to figure out what people are saying. You care about your shit, so it’s hard. No matter what other people think, I try to keep my eyes on the road and my songs on what I want to do.

“The internet can take away the fun of things sometimes if you read too much nonsense.” Anything you do. As an artist, I think it’s important to keep presenting myself.Sean Don then said that his mother had helped him gain confidence again.

He said, “Last night, my mom called me while Jhené and I were bathing our son. She was just giving me words.” “And I thought, ‘Look, I can keep working on it until it’s just the way I want it, and I’ll keep pushing it back forever.'” Or I can trust the tough work I have to do right now, which is what I’m going to do.Thank you, mom, for always being my guardian angel and giving me good advise. She really did help me get through it.

The former G.O.O.D. Music MC also said that Better Me Than You will be out on Friday, August 30. The album had been delayed from its original August 9 release date, in part because Sean just got COVID.When asked about the music, he said, “This album is definitely all the different parts of me.” At least, it seems to be split into four different groups. First there were songs about stress, then there were songs about being focused, clear, and happy.

Sean also said that he might change Better Me Than You after it came out, like adding an ending that he was still working on.”I don’t like doing that kind of crap, but this album feels like a living thing that can keep growing.”

After his intense show, Big Sean posted the album cover art on Instagram. It looks like the rapper’s soul is being sent to Heaven by beaming out of his body.

“BETTER ME THAN YOU Friday,” he wrote under the picture.Better Me Than You has a few songs to back it up, such as “Yes,” “On Up,” which is dedicated to his one-year-old son Noah, and “Together Forever,” which was produced by The Alchemist.

A rough draft of Sean’s record was leaked last month, supposedly by a Kanye West fan, which may have made things even worse for him.The person who did it said that Ye told them to share the project early because Sean made fun of his old label boss in his On the Radar freestyle.

But the Motor City native wasn’t sure that his “Mercy” co-star would do something like that, even though they had a history of problems.”I know he wouldn’t do that because it’s rubbish.” “He wouldn’t do that, I know that,” he said on Instagram Live. No matter who did that, know that it fucked me up. I’m sure he won’t do that. “You did that,” they said, but I know he didn’t do that.

He also said, “Leaking an n-gga’s shit?” I could see a lot of private things, not just his but also other people’s. I would never tell other people’s secrets, so I know he won’t do that. “Whoever started that rumor, you guys are crazy.”
