Lil Wayne and Damian Lillard rapped together: “Me and Wayne got so many songs together that ain’t even been released”

It’s not crazy to say that Damian Lillard is the best NBA player rapper. There was Allen Iverson, Shaq, Kobe Bryant, and even Lonzo Ball, but Lillard stands out. HoopsHype says that Lillard recently went on Jeff Teague’s Club 520 podcast and talked about a lot of different things, such as his music and working with Lil Wayne.

Does Damian Lillard rap better than any other NBA player? To begin, not everyone gets to sing with Lil Wayne. Some people think Wayne is the best rapper living today, or maybe even ever. Going up against someone that good on a rap track takes a lot of confidence, which Lillard has in spades.

“I have to say Lil Wayne is my favorite collaboration so far,” Lillard said. “When I first met Wayne, someone contacted me on his behalf, saying, ‘He wants to work with you because he likes how you don’t try to sound like a rapper.'” We got along because he could tell that you were just rapping like you. When I send Wayne a song, he does it and gives it back to me right away. That’s why so many of our songs haven’t been released yet. We haven’t put out a lot of stuff. We went to the studio together, and when I saw it, I thought, “Damn.”

It sounds more like the kind of rap your uncle might have liked in the 1990s or early 2000s. That’s not at all like Lil Uzi Vert or Playboi Carti. Lillard is going to give great jokes and an interesting story over the beat. There could be an interesting hook, but that’s only to keep people reading.

Overall, it’s amazing when Lil Wayne sends you lines along with songs you send him. He doesn’t take that honor lightly, and you can bet that his fans can’t wait to hear more of his work with Kobe.
