Rapsody claims that Lil Wayne’s verse pushed her to rewrite her bars “27 times” for her upcoming album

Although Rapsody has cited a wide range of musical influences, she recently credited Lil Wayne with motivating her to perform at her peak in the booth.On Friday (May 17), the renowned MC spoke with HipHopDX, where she discussed how the former Hоt Boy inspired her.

 

 

“I simply want to express myself and have fun with it,” she stated at the 29-minute mark. “However, after receiving his verse, I felt cоmpelled to match the degree of craftsmanship. Wow, it’s Wayne!
