Snoop Dogg is celebrating his 27th wedding anniversary with wife Shante Broadus, and they’re still as young and adorable as they were years ago in matching pink outfits

Snoop Dogg is commemorating a noteworthy milestone!

On Saturday, June 15, the 52-year-old rapper celebrated 27 years of marriage to his manager and wife, Shante Broadus, by posting a message on Instagram.

Snoop captioned the series of images with “#TwentySeven ,” tagging Broadus, who also posted the same pictures with a similar message on her own Instagram.

In the informal pictures they provided, the couple was dressed in matching sets of pink and white sweatsuits. In both photos, Broadus was wearing a bright blue cross-body purse, and the hero of the Garfield movie put his arm around her.

The pair went to prom together in 1989 when still teenagers, meeting at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California. They got married at the Marina Del Rey, California, Ritz Carlton Hotel in June 1997.

Together, Snoop and Broadus are parents to three children: daughter Cori, 24, and sons Cordé, 29, and Cordell, 27. Alongside Laurie Helmond, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” performer has a 25-year-old son named Julian.

The Training Day star’s daughter Elleven and boys Zion and Leo were welcomed by Cordé, making Broadus and him grandparents. At the age of ten days, Cordé’s late son Kai Love passed away in 2019.

Broadus and Snoop parted ways for a short while in 2004 but reconciled in 2008.

The musician revealed their reconciliation to PEOPLE in 2007. “I thought I was the man, and I was willing to give up what I had at home for that until I realized that what I had at home was irreplaceable.”

The rapper of “Young, Wild & Free” explained on Today in 2023 that the reason their marriage has endured is that “I think because we were both young and we were both willing to sacrifice for each other.”

He went on, “She knew what my dreams and goals was, and at the same time, I knew what hers were.”

“When you truly love somebody, there ain’t nothing you can do to break that up, and I feel like that was true love at first sight,” he said.

Snoop claimed in 2024 that he declined a possible $100 million agreement with Only Fans in order to protect Broadus on the Instagram Live series Wake & Bake with Double S Express.

“I’m like, I got a Black wife,” he said in response to my question about his choice. “Ain’t no way in the world she gonna allow me to go on there and pull that thang out for no amount of money.”
