Will Smith is the subject of a tribute from Jada Pinkett Smith.
On June 16, the 52-year-old actress celebrated Father’s Day by thanking Will, 55, for being a “devoted” father to his kids in an Instagram post. She also included a humorous picture of the actor dozing off with his kids and his ex-wife, Sheree Zampino.
Jada captioned the photo, saying, “Will thank you for being a devoted girl dad/boy dad and doing all you do.” Cheers to Father’s Day! You merit the relaxation .
In the picture, Willow, 23, and Jaden, 25, together with Will’s son Trey, 31, who he shares with Zampino, 56, were seen joining Jada, who was standing behind him, laughing and pointing at him while Will was soundly sleeping on an outdoor lounger.
Jada also posted a second image, this one showing a cap on an outdoor table with the words “Happy Zaddy Day” printed across the front in a playful nod to Will, next to a jar of silverware that said “Father’s Day,” implying that the Smith family celebrated the holiday with a meal.
Meanwhile, Will celebrated Father’s Day by sharing a humorous video of a girl hitting a ball at her crutches while writing, “Hahaha! “Spoutout to all the dads raising the next generation of sluggers, taking a beating every day ,” the user wrote, identifying the father in the video.
After Jada and Will’s kids showed up to support the Fresh Prince star at the Los Angeles premiere of his most recent movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, on May 30, Jada paid tribute to Will on Father’s Day.
As they celebrated the release of the fourth edition of the popular franchise, the family was pictured at the occasion with Will.
Jada accompanied Will to the film’s May 22 Dubai premiere. On the red carpet at the Coca-Cola Arena, she posed for pictures apart from Will while he spoke to fans alone with costar Martin Lawrence.
“In a region that loves architecture… @irisvanherpen is perfect for a Dubai red carpet,” the Set It Off singer said on Instagram about her visit and dress for the occasion. Will “liked” the photo.
