Lil Durk Announces Plans for a ‘Free’ Concert in Nigeria

Renowned American rapper and singer, Durk Derrick Banks, widely known as Lil Durk, has disclosed his intentions to organize a “free” concert in Nigeria.

The artist, famous for hits like ‘All My Life,’ was initially slated to perform at an event in Lagos this December but regrettably did not make an appearance.

Addressing the situation via his X handle on Saturday morning, Lil Durk clarified that the absence was beyond his control. Expressing his affection for Nigeria, he assured fans of a complimentary concert in the country in the near future.

In his message, he stated: “I have to make it up with a free show for Nigeria, even if it wasn’t my fault [for missing the December event]. You all are my family, and I’ve got you forever.”

Lil Durk enjoys a devoted following among Nigerian youths, particularly the Gen Z demographic. His latest track, ‘All My Life,’ featuring J.Cole, swiftly climbed to the number one spot on Apple Music Nigeria within 24 hours of its release.
