Drake appears to retaliate against Soulja Boy in his new song featuring Lil Yachty

On a new, unreleased track featuring Lil Yachty and Drake, the rapper seems to be taking aim at Soulja Boy.

On Tuesday (July 24), the unofficially released song sampled “Goodness Gracious” by Mr. HotSpot and was first performed on Kai Cenat’s livestream. The song is currently known as “Super Soak,” and Drake raps on it, saying things like, “I’m watching the moves, playin’ it close / SOD, super soak.”

It seems like the sentence is making a direct reference to Soulja Boy’s 2007 single “Super Soak” and his record company, Stacks on Deck. After Big Draco’s recent social media attack against the 6 God, the phrase could be seen as a warning to him.

The “Crank That” singer accused Drake of letting him down during their feud, saying that Drizzy’s performance was disappointing.

“Swag Season July 28, never let an n-gga try me like I’m drake,” Soulja wrote earlier this month on X. “Drake, you let me down.”

“Performing all them n-ggaz songs with them wimpy asses, looking where @Drake, none of the non-ggaz you collaborated with or toured with have your back.Following Charlamagne Tha God’s 2019 declaration that Drake was “the biggest rapper in the world,” Soulja Boy made fun of the Canadian superstar during his now-viral appearance on The Breakfast Club.

The rapper who sang “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” said, “Draaaaakkkkkkeeee?! That woman who was kicked by Pusha T? Drake, please?! Stop messing with me in here, you n-gas.

“You’re referring to the n-gga from [Degrassi] who has light skin, right?” Quit acting as if Drake didn’t learn what he knows from me.

In a 2022 interview with HipHopDX, Soulja reflected on the event and remarked, “Man, I wasn’t expecting it at all.” All I did was walk up there, give a speech, and chat with The Breakfast Club. It was fun. I merely expressed my thoughts.

By the time I reached the hotel and returned home, my phone had gone into overdrive, and the internet had gone viral. “What the fuck happened?” I thought. I said what?

“And someone asked, ‘You were like, Drake?'” “Oh, yeah!” was my reaction. Yeah. However, I must say, the interview was quite good.
