Kim Kardashian reveals one of her and ex-husband Kanye West’s sons has a rare autoimmune disоrder where patches of skin lose pigment
One of Kim Kardashian’s and her ex-husband Kanye West’s sons suffers from a rare skin condition.
One of her boys suffers from vitiligo, a skin ailment. The 43-year-old mother of four, who shares North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with West, 47, disclosed this information.
The Kardashians star revealed on Monday’s She MD podcast episode, “It came from my mom, went to me, and I passed it on in a different form to my son, who has vitiligo very mildly.”
The National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases describes vitiligo as a “chronic autoimmune disorder that causes patches of skin to lose pigment or color.” The institute’s website explains that “this happens when melanocytes, skin cells that make pigment, are attacked and destroyed, causing the skin to turn a milky-white color.”
Kim’s pal and model Winnie Harlow has it.
