The encounter between 50 Cent and Drake infuriated Lamar’s fan base. Some of them brought up the fact that 50 had a habit of going after individuals who supported his opponents. “You can’t do Ja Rule like that and go hang with the modern day Ja Rule,” a person commented. In light of this, another commenter stated that they “don’t want to see [Drake] in Power” and brought up Drake’s acting background. There is a shared past between 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar. Working together, they created the 2013 single “We Up.” In Season 5 of Power, Lamar makes a brief appearance as Laces, a homeless junkie who survives after Kanan Stark (played by 50 Cent) shoots him in the head. Naturally, they are both acquainted with Dr. Dre and Eminem. Despite signing with Aftermath Entertainment at separate times throughout the past 20 years, both artists achieved enormous success. Since then, they’ve gone their separate ways. 50 got into television, and Lamar started the production firm pgLang.

Some fans have speculated that the fact that 50 Cent and Drake met up was due in part to their mutual animosity toward Rick Ross. Their feud dates back to the turn of the millennium. In the midst of Drake’s larger feud with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year, his relationship with Ross soured, and the two took small punches at each other. The success of Ross’s crossover was attributed by Drake. Ross called Drake “BBL Drizzy” and said the rapper soiled himself with Ozempic and shelled out cash for the procedure. For his performance of “Not Like Us” in Vancouver, Ross was recently involved in an altercation. What happens as a result of the highly publicized meeting between Drake and 50 is anyone’s guess.
