BIGGIE, JAY-Z, NAS, and ‘THE BIG 3’ left Out of the Top Five in the ‘FAMILY FEUD’ Awards for Best Rapper

On a recent episode of Family Feud, the question was asked: who is the greatest rapper of all time? Biggie, JAY-Z, Nas, and “The Big 3” (Drake, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar) could not even make it into the top five.

Actually, out of the eight rappers who appeared on the survey, only B.I.G. and Hov made it to the final list; this was enough to have host Steve Harvey say that, obviously, the one hundred people who filled out the survey weren’t really into hip-hop.Someone on Meghan Trainor’s staff answers Harvey’s inquiry, “Who is the greatest rapper of all time?” with an assured “J. Cole.” The video was recorded and published on TikTok.

But no one saw Cole’s name on the list—it was a complete shock. Tori Kelly’s rival teammate then proposes Kendrick, who was omitted from the entire roster along with Lil Wayne.

The poll board didn’t show any answers until the fourth guess, when a Team Tori member suggested 2pac; he finished in second place. Then, using Biggie as his guess, Kelly’s dad gave it a shot and discovered that he was in the eighth spot.

While competitors’ suggestions of Nas and Drake were completely disregarded, JAY-Z emerged as the eighth and last most popular choice. An incorrect response of “Ice Cube” was also provided.Harvey playfully asks, “We in Rhode Island again, where we at?,” implying the possible site of the survey. He explains to Tori Kelly later on, “You’re thinking as a Hip-Hop head.” Those aren’t the questions that were answered, in my opinion.

Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, Eminem, Dr. Dre, LL Cool J, B.I.G., 50 Cent, and Hova were the final artists to make it onto the list, as per the respondents to Family Feud’s vote.

To the entire Hip Hop community, I simply want to apologize,” Harvey joked immediately before he announces the names. “JAY-Z’s final, what on earth?”
