It seems like Lil Durk is living it up lately.

It appears that Durkio’s luck is turning around, despite his recent social media posts expressing his despair and wish to have another son with his fiancée, India Royale.

Durk has been on quite the roll as of late, what with his appearance on Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live, his several blatant promotions for Royale’s cosmetic line on Drake’s record, and his stated goal of finishing high school. And let me tell you, that’s only scratching the surface of his impressive resume.

Over the past twelve months, Durk has collaborated with Drake on two songs, published an album with Lil Baby, and earned fifteen million dollars from their joint Voice Of The Heroes tour. Just hours, Durk took a time last night to show off all the hard work he has put in, including his numerous cameos on the recordings of other renowned rappers.

“My birthday at midnight I should drop my album and go #1,” Durk captioned an Instagram photo of himself outside the doors of a private jet with a million dollars in cash and an extensive collection of watches tucked inside a Louis Vuitton travel case. He then added a casual shrugging emoji.

Durk was clearly in a good enough mood to contemplate dropping an album at midnight, even though he didn’t.

Despite the unexpected decline, he is correct in predicting that it will move to #1. Even though Drake has been dominating the Billboard Top 200 as of late, it’s not out of the question that Lil Durk may take over. Whatever your opinion on Durk’s desire to unseat Drake—who he has openly proclaimed the best of all time—the fact is that he is doing what he wants and brought a million dollars to the runway to prove it.
