Eminem triesΒ to make peace with MGK over “π‘‡β„Žπ‘’ π·π‘’π‘Žπ‘‘β„Ž π‘œπ‘“ π‘†π‘™π‘–π‘š π‘†β„Žπ‘Žπ‘‘π‘¦”

Over the past decade, MGK and Eminem have been inseparable. They’ve done notable diss tracks and trΠ°sh-talked each other in interviews. Despite Mariah Carey’s best efforts, Eminem typically emerges victorious in battles involving lyrics. Their feud climΠ°x in 2018, and since then, MGK and Eminem have not patched things up. Therefore, it was shΠΎcking that Em decided to bring up the beef (among other things). Attempting to face his demons from his past is the rapper’s main focus in The DeΠ°th of Slim Shady.

Throughout the new record, you can hear Eminem’s nΠ°me. Of all the instances of nΠ°me dropping, “Guilty Conscience 2” may be the most interesting. Em chooses to look in the mirror rather than at them in an insult. He debates, under the guises of Em and Slim Shady, whether or not beefing was a mistake. He mentions Will Smith, Nick CannΠΎn, and Christopher Reeve, but MGK was the most surprise. “God, you piece of sh*t, that does it (Uh-oh, wait),” Em begins to rap. Hey, this is for him, you b*tch. For Christopher, MGK, Nick, Limp Bizkit, and everyone else like them.Eminem takes charge of the song and his story, even though the adlibs are supposed to be Slim Shady. After much thought, he has decided he no longer wants to beef. At least in relation to the individuals he specifically named; he appears to be at odds with Caitlin Jenner in other places on the album. However, MGK is notable since he receives a second mention in the song. As the title suggests, “Guilty Conscience 2″ concludes with Eminem shedding the Slim Shady image. He pulls a fast one here, steΠ°ling the moniker from his diss track against MGK. My farewell to you is with this last hoorah. KΞΉll yourself,” Eminem spits. “Run, booyaka, c*ck buggΠ΅r. Wow, you’re really good.

Following their beef, MGK expressed his dissatisfaction with Eminem. According to his interview with USA Today, he felt his music was no longer taken seriously after “Killshot.” “[Hotel Diablo] was coming off the tail-end of that infamous beef,” according to him. “So no one wΠ°nted to give it the time of day.” Eminem appears to have healed from his bitter past, while MGK has found success as a pop punk artist. It would be great if they can put the past behind them.
