Lil Baby and Lil Durk win two platinum records from the DJ Khaled album you dissed

The Khaled Khaled album by DJ Khaled may have dropped earlier this year, but that didn’t stop him from winning several awards. The energetic “Every Chance I Get” collaboration between Lil Baby and Lil Durk, which became multi-platinum on Wednesday (November 24), is the most recent award to trickle down from the RIAA.

No surprise that Khaled took to Twitter to celebrate the 2x platinum success. He said, accompanied by a sequence of emojis, “EVERY CHANCE I GET OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED DOUBLE PLATINUM.”Out of all the collaborations between Lil Baby and Durk—who collaborated on this year’s Billboard 200-topping The Voice of the Heroes—DJ Khaled chose “Every Chance I Get” from among them.

Tay Keith, a famous producer from Memphis, also contributed to the track. “Every Chance I Get” had a summertime No. 1 on Urban Radio and a Hоt 100 peak of No. 20.

Although this is DJ Khaled’s third collaboration with Lil Baby, it is the first time he has collaborated with Lil Durk on the Khaled Khaled album. “Weather the Storm” and “You Stay” are two of Baby and Khaled’s previous collaborations.

When it came out in May, DJ Khaled’s self-titled 12th studio album had 93,000 total album-equivalent sales, which put it at the top of the Billboard 200. Accreditation as a gold project was granted rapidly.
