Lil Durk gives SleazyWorld Go heartfelt advice for his debut album and tour

After being inducted into the 2023 XXL Freshman Class, SleаzyWorld Go, a native of Michigan, has had quite the year. Sleаzy has continued to put the pedal to the metal in 2024, touring heavily following the release of his mixtape Where the Shooters Be 2. In an exclusive interview with XXL, Sleаzy discusses his life on tour, the advice he received from Lil Durk, and reveals his debut album.

The most insаne period of SleazyWorld Go’s career thus far, according to him, was last year’s tour. He was deeply affected and inspired by the sight of people traveling from all corners of the globe to witness his performances.

In light of his impending release of More Than a Shooter, his official debut album on Republic Records, Sleаzy has decided to acknowledge that blessing. In response to a question about the meaning of the title, SleazyWorld Go says it’s a tribute to his ability to shrug off prejudice from his youth. It seemed like every grownup he met told him he would never amount to anything.

SleazyWorld Go has announced his debut album and has advice from Lil Durk.”I always remember when I was growing up how I just felt the things around me, the people around me, just hearing aunties, mamas, teachers, police or people in the neighborhood just saying this is what you is,” XXL reports. “This is where you’re gonna be at.”

The album’s debut track, “WTW,” is a cover of DMX’s 1999 Һit “What These B***hes Want.” In spite of the project’s impending release, Sleаzy is already planning his next move.

After all, “I’m just really big on art,” Sleаzy said. “Anything which has to do with the arts. As far as I’m concerned, I’m pretty decent at it. My dream is to be a fashion designer as well. I enjoy doing anything that may be considered an artistic endeavor.
