Eminem gives the main spotlight in his Tobey MV to Big Sean nd BabyTron? Making fans think it is not his MV

On Tuesday (July 2), Eminem dropped his new single “Tobey,” which features Big Sean and BabyTron, both of whom are from Michigan. The “Stan” rapper’s next album, The Deаth of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), preceded the record’s arrival.

In the second verse, Big Sean began by making references to “Watch The Throne,” his kid Noah Hasani, who he has with Jhené Aiko, as well as the Star Wars franchise: “I was diligently observing the throne / No one is denying me, even when my baby is asleep / The only time I’m paying attention to my tone / We don’t want people who are always complaining / If he’s Obi-Wan, then I have to play Yoda.”

“Cole Bennett, founder of Lyrical Lemonade and director of the music video for this song, is with me, and I can paint a picture like I made the stencil / F**k your whole image,” he went on to sаy, mentioning Bennett.

The song was completed by Eminem with references to Spider-Man actor Tobey Maguire, “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, and Jon Manzel, a former NFL quarterback. Here is “Tobey” for your perusal.

“Big Sean is losing it. “Wow, that’s crаzy,” one Twitter user said. “Big Sean just dropped [the] hardest verse he’s ever had,” another user commented off. Eminem returns with a bаng. I thought [Eminem’s] verse was too brief,” said another. I thought it was a Big Sean song. Even so, it works well as an album track, although “Houdini” is the winner.

For The Deаth of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), “Tobey” served as the album’s second lead single before its official release. It came after Eminem’s divisive “Houdini,” in which he made what sounded like a reference to the shooting that occurred involving Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. The native Missourian spat out, “Would I truly have a chance at a feat if I asked Megan Thee Stallion to collaborate with me? / Returning makes me happy, but I’m not sure.

Additionally, Big Sean is working on something. After releasing the carefree “Whole Time (Freestyle)” in February, he dropped the “Precision” single in March. His next piece of work will be his first since Detroit 2 in 2020.
