Lil Wayne says he can’t remember his songs anymore due to memory loss
Although Lil Wayne is working on several projects and anticipating the vinyl release of his legendary “Tha Carter III” album, he claims he can no longer recall the lyrics to his songs. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the 40-year-old rapper Dwayne Carter stated that he “doesn’t know ‘Tha Carter III,’ ‘Tha Carter II,’ ‘Tha Carter One’ from ‘Tha Carter IV.”

Lil Wayne went on to say that because of his memory loss, the songs that made him famous in the early 2000s have “no significance” for him. In particular, he admitted to the magazine that he couldn’t remember that “Tha Carter III,” one of his best-selling albums, came out in 2008.
“I’m not even sure whether ‘Tha Carter III’ was released at that time. That’s the extent of my ignorance,” he remarked, adding that he was still working every day. Even if he can’t recall some of his most well-known songs, Lil Wayne also stated that he has no intention of retiring anytime soon.
