Snoop Dogg Crowns Kendrick Lamar ‘King of the West’ Following His Pop-Out Concert
In a recent Instagram Live, Snoop Dogg proclaimed Kendrick Lamar as the “King of the West” following Lamar’s Juneteenth “Ken & Friends” pop-out concert. “Sending a big shout out to K. Dot and all the homies from the west that stood together unified and organized in peace and love,” Snoop said. “It was beautiful to see all my people come together. K. Dot, you are the king of the west; that’s the kind of sҺit kings do.”
Lamar’s “Ken & Friends” Juneteenth concert filled the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles. During the event, Kendrick brought out his mentor, Dr. Dre, for performances of “Still D.R.E.” and “California Love.” He also performed his viral Drake diss “They Not Like Us” six times, joined by basketball stars Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan. The concert, which was live-streamed by Amazon Music, featured a powerful moment where Lamar united several Bloods and Crips onstage.
