Lil Durk Reveals RеҺаb Jσuɾ𝚗еy to Become a “Better Man, Father, and Leader”
Lil Durk has been focusing on self-improvement, and part of that journey involved seeking rehab. In a recent interview with TMZ, he disclosed that he sought help to overcome his addiction to lean and Xanax.
“It helped me a lot. I want people to not run from it or be shy from it. It was tough at first but it ain’t that tough ’cause I really knew what I wаnted. I knew what was holding me back,” Lil Durk shared.
The rapper explained his motivation for entering rehab: “I wаnted better. I wаnted to be a better man, a better father, a better leader. I’m thinking clearer. My main goal is peace, being with the family, and staying out of bulls***.”
Before rehab, Durk admitted, “I was moving fast, making excuses. I was letting the Ԁrugs take over me — like the codeine, Xanax. But it don’t make me.”
Now, he is committed to “staying on the right track and trying to change a lot of lives.”
“This is for the youth or the older people who want to do better and feel like they’re embarrassed or like people are gonna talk about them,” Durk said. He also revealed plans to build a rehabilitation facility in his hometown of Chicago to support other recovering addicts.
“I know what it did for me,” he said. “I know it could help a lot of people.”
