Norwich fans will be on the edge of their seats come Monday, anxiously awaiting the outcome of the Championship play-off final against Middlesbrough.
However, amidst the tension, they can find solace in the support of an unexpected ally: none other than rapper Snoop Dogg.
The iconic ‘Still Dre’ artist graced the stage at Earlham Park in Norwich for Radio 1’s Big Weekend, proudly donning a personalized Canaries shirt gifted to him by the station. Sharing his excitement on Instagram, the 43-year-old captioned a series of snapshots with, ‘I don’t care I love it . .. show time.’
While this may seem like a novelty, it’s not the first instance of the ‘Doggfather’ sporting a football shirt. Snoop has been photographed in various football kits during his performances, ranging from renowned clubs to even donning an England jersey.
But Snoop Dogg’s sporting interests extend far beyond English football teams. He has been spotted rocking jerseys representing teams across different sports, including the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, and the Yankees, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles.
With such a diverse range of sporting affiliations, it’s evident that Snoop Dogg’s love for sports knows no bounds.
