Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne compete on NFL Suρer Bowl ‘Black and Gold’ remix: Which track is superior?

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers are competing not just on the football field. Rap mogul Lil Wayne has remixed Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow,” a song that celebrates the city of Birmingham, in time for the 2018 Suρer Bowl. Taking inspiration from the Wisconsin team’s jersey colors, his “Green and Yellow” effectively announces that Green Bay will be hoisting the Lombardi trophy on Sunday. Wayne raps over the Stargate music, “Terrible towels?/ That s—’s boring/ We got the ball/ You know we’re scoring.”

Wayne emphasizes “this ain’t a diss song” many times throughout the song. He is not at odds with Khalifa. He just loves the Packers. But in the spirit of rivalry, we have to wonder: whose “Yellow” shines the brightest? We have Khalifa and his hometown jam on one bench.
