Lil Durk has broken his silence regarding the heartbreaking loss of his close friend and frequent collaborator, King Von.

Taking to Instagram, the “Laugh Now, Cry Later” artist shared his heartfelt reaction to the news of Von’s untimely deаth. Alongside a photo of the late rapper, Durk wrote, “MY TWIN GONE. I LOVE YOU BABY BRO – D ROY!!!!!”

From the onset of Von’s rap career, Lil Durk took him under his wing, signing him to his Only the Family label and nurturing his growth as an artist. Von’s breakthrough single, “Crаzy Story,” was featured on Durk’s label compilation, Only the Family Involved Vol. 2. Their collaboration continued with tracks like “Crаzy Story 2.0” and others from Von’s debut album, Welcome to O’ Block.

Tragically, King Von was one of three individuals fatally shot outside an Atlanta nightclub on the morning of November 6. The incident, which involved law enforcement, left the Chicago rapper critically injured before he passed away.
