Gunna Affirms Unwavering Love for Young TҺug Amid Snitching Allegations

Nearly two years following his release from jail, Gunna has directly confronted rumors regarding his relationship with Young TҺug, Lil Baby, and several former collaborators.

In XXL’s latest issue, released on Monday, April 15, the “Drip or Drown” artist emphasized that his connection with TҺug remаins unwavering despite the allegations surrounding his involvement in the YSL RICO case. “It’s the same. It’s love, always. Our relationship is our relationship,” he affirmed.

Gunna also addressed comments and speculative remarks made by Lil Durk, 21 Sаvаge, and Lil Baby. He clarified that the trio are not involved in the legal proceedings and therefore may not fully grasp the situation. “I talked to maybe two or three of those guys. I talked to them on the phone,” the College Park, Georgia rapper disclosed, noting that their conversations were amicable.

Previously collaborating with Gunna on tracks like “Home Body” and “What Happened To Virgil,” Durk expressed his views during a 2023 interview with DJ Akademiks, stating, “That man told. You should’ve went in there and kept your mouth closed… If you a rat, you a rat… If you’re a rat, I f**king hate you ‘cause I love TҺug.”

In the meantime, Lil Baby faced accusations of targeting Gunna on “350,” with lines like, “Ain’t never sаy nothin’ ’bout it, nga, you know you a rat.” The track even prompted a response from TҺug’s father, Jeffery Williams Sr., who urged the Atlanta native to “shut the fk up.”

“He going off of what he heard. Ask Lil Baby have he ever come to a court date. See, that’s what I want y’all to ask these goddmn rappers and bloggers with this whole ‘snitch’ st,” Williams Sr. remarked.

Gunna is gearing up to release his fifth studio album, ONE OF WUN, in the forthcoming months. The LP will feature singles like “Bittersweet” and “Prada Dem” featuring Offset.
