Lil Durk recently joined forces with Mаchine Gu𝚗 Kelly for a special performance of his 2020 Һit “The Voice” at an Amazon Music Live show. The event, which took place in L.A. last week as part of the second season of Amazon Music Live, saw MGK showcasing his guitar skills while Durk delivered the heartfelt lyrics of the track.
Hosted by 2 Chainz, Amazon Music Live will also feature upcoming performances from Metro Boomin, Latto, and other artists in the weeks to come. However, Durk’s collaboration with MGK wasn’t the only memorable live moment for the Chicago-native. Last week, he surprised his hometown fans at Soldier Field by staging a halftime show during the Chicago Fire’s home game, where he performed alongside local children.
During the game, Durk also shared news about his philanthropic efforts, revealing plans to send 30 students to Harvard University next spring through his foundation, Neighborhood Heroes. The initiative aims to make positive changes in local communities, with Durk expressing his desire to provide opportunities that he himself didn’t have growing up. He emphasized his commitment to uplifting young people in Chicago, citing his own struggles with education and his determination to make a difference now that he has the means to do so.
Lil Durk’s performance with Mаchine Gu𝚗 Kelly and his involvement with the children in Chicago showcase his dedication to both his music and his community.
