Snoop Dogg, known for his active engagement in the non-fungible token (NFT) market, made significant investments in 2021. He spent a total of 4,185.5 Ethereum (ETH) tokens on five NFTs, including “Right-click and Save As Guy,” “Some Asshоle,” “CryptoPunk #3831,” “Destiny,” and “Fidenza #351.” Estimates suggest Snoop Dogg’s NFT collection could be valued between $5 million and $10 million.
In 2022, Snoop Dogg ventured into creating his own NFT project called “Snoop’s Stash Box,” which generated $45 million in revenue within a week, selling approximately 9,000 NFTs priced at $5,000 each.
Similarly, Jay-Z has delved into the NFT space with notable acquisitions. His most expensive NFT purchаse is CyberPunk 6095, acquired for 55 ETH in April 2021, potentially worth around $175,000. Additionally, through his venture capital firm Marcy Ventures, Jay-Z has invested in prominent crypto companies like MoonPay and Ledger.
Eminem has also made waves in the crypto world, notably purchasing Bored Ape 9055 for 123.45 ETH in June 2021. With the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection currently having a floor price of around 12 ETH, Eminem’s investment could be valued at approximately $100,000.
The transparency of blockchain technology has enabled the public to gain insights into the financial activities of celebrities, with notable figures like former President Dоnald Trump and comedian Dave Chappelle also having discovered wallets in the crypto space.
