At the inaugural Jackie Robinson Celebrity Softball Game, Lil Wayne was spotted alongside baseball legend Barry Bonds. Although Bonds briefly shared a photo of himself and Weezy on his official Instagram, it has since been deleted.
However, Lil Wayne himself posted a picture with Bonds and a short video reel on his own Instagram account, capturing some memorable moments from the charity event.
He also took the opportunity to snap a photo with R&B singer Mario. Wayne captioned the picture with Bonds as “Some real G.O.A.T. moments from the charity game yesterday.”
During the event, Lil Wayne sported Jackie Robinson’s iconic number 42 Los Angeles Dodgers uniform, adding to the significance of the occasion.
The Jackie Robinson Foundation expressed gratitude to all the celebrities and fans who participated in celebrating 75 years since Robinson’s groundbreaking impact on sports. They also gave a special shout-out to Barry Bonds for his guest appearance at the event.
The charity game and Home Run Derby, presented by @bumpboxx, took place at Jackie Robinson Stadium in Los Angeles. Fans and celebrity guests alike came together to commemorate Robinson’s enduring legacy. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to enjoy footage of the event, as well as a video reel featuring the DJ Premier-produced track “The Root Of All,” which includes Lil Wayne’s collaboration with Slick Rick from Preemo’s Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack Vol. 1.
