All about 50 Cent’s two children: Marquise 27 and Sire 11

50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, is a father of two sons. His first child, Marquise Jackson, was born in 1996 to Shaniqua Tompkins.

Despite becoming a father before his rise to fame as a rapper, 50 Cent and Marquise have had a strained relationship over the years, often played out publicly on social media.

In contrast, 50 Cent shares a close bond with his younger son, Sire Jackson, born in 2012 to his former partner Daphne Joy. The rapper has shared numerous photos with Sire on social media, depicting a strong father-son relationship.

Marquise Jackson, 27

50 Cent’s older son, Marquise, was born in October 1996 to the rapper and his then-girlfriend, Tompkins. The couple dated on and off throughout the ’90s before eventually splitting.

They engaged in a custody battle over Marquise, which was finalized in October 2008, granting 50 Cent visitation rights.

However, their relationship deteriorated over the years, with Marquise describing it as soured since he was around 10 or 11 years old. Their estrangement became public in 2018 when 50 Cent made a controversial comment on an Instagram photo of Marquise.

The strained relationship continued, with Marquise often engaging in actions to provoke his father. Despite this, 50 Cent maintained that he held no ill will towards anyone and had supported Marquise financially throughout the years.

Sire Jackson, 11

50 Cent’s second son, Sire, was born in September 2012 to his ex-girlfriend, Joy.

Despite the strained relationship between 50 Cent and Joy, the rapper and his younger son appear to share a close bond. They have been seen together at various events, including red carpet premieres and shopping sprees.

However, their family dynamic has been marred by allegations and legal battles. In March 2024, Joy accused 50 Cent of sexual and physical assault, prompting the rapper to seek sole custody of Sire.

These accusations came after 50 Cent’s representative cited allegations made against Joy in another lawsuit as the reason for pursuing custody. Joy has denied these claims, but their tumultuous relationship has been documented over the years, including a previous incident in 2013 where 50 Cent pled guilty to misdemeanor vandalism resulting from a domestic dispute with Joy.
