Lil Baby addresses speculation surrounding any potential issues with Migos
Lil Baby made an appearance on 97.9 Jamz on Tuesday to promote his third studio album, “It’s Only Me.”
During his interview on the station’s Posted on the Corner show, the Quality Control rapper addressed speculation about any tension between him and Migos, particularly regarding his new track “Stand On It.”
“Һell nah,” Baby responded when asked if there were any underlying issues with Migos. He expressed reluctance to engage with such rumors, stating, “I be wanting to comment on that type of stuff, but I just feel like when I comment on something, it just make it bigger.”
Despite the speculation, Lil Baby emphasized that he doesn’t pay much attention to internet chatter. He assured fans that there’s no beef between him and the Atlanta trio, stating, “They know I ain’t got nothing going on with them.”
On Friday, Lil Baby released his latest project, “It’s Only Me.” Projections suggest that the album will debut at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, with an estimated 185,000 to 210,000 album equivalent units in its first week. This would mark Baby’s third project to reach the top spot, following “My Turn” in 2020 and “The Voice of the Heroes” with Lil Durk in 2021.
For comparison, Lil Baby’s debut album, “Harder Than Ever,” debuted at No. 3 with 71,000 units in 2018.
