Rob Dillingham and his teammate DJ Wagner shared the stage with Drake and Lil Durk during their performance at Rupp Arena

Drake and Lil Durk’s concert at Rupp Arena in Lexington featured a special appearance by three Kentucky Wildcats players. Rob Dillingham, DJ Wagner, and Kareem Watkins joined the performing artists on stage during the ‘Big As The What?’ Tour. It’s no surprise that Drake’s close relationship with John Calipari led to some of the Wildcats players being part of the show.

Dillingham and Wagner, key players for Kentucky, were joined by Watkins, a senior who is related to Wagner. Dillingham, a prolific scorer coming off the bench, averages 15 points, 3.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, shooting impressive percentages from the field and beyond the arc. Wagner, the team’s starting point guard, contributes 10.3 points and 3.3 assists per game.

Just a day before the concert, Kentucky secured a significant victory over Tennessee, finishing the regular season with a 23-8 record and securing the No. 2 seed in the SEC Tournament. With a chance to vie for another conference title, the Wildcats head to the SEC Tournament in Nashville before gearing up for the NCAA Tournament.

For many Kentucky players, their performances this season have elevated them to rockstar status among the fanbase. Taking the stage at Drake’s concert was a fitting moment for them to bask in the spotlight before embarking on their postseason journey later in the week.
