Lil Durk reminisces about a comical mishap involving a Rolls-Royce, his partner India Royale, and an elusive lock button.

During a recent appearance on Nick Cannоn’s Big Drive show, the Chicago rapper recounted an amusing incident where he inadvertently found himself trapped inside the luxury car while attempting to create a romantic moment for his longtime girlfriend.

“We were in the Cullinan, and I decided to pop out for my girl, my wife,” Durk explained. “I thought, ‘Okay, it’s time to shut the door.'” However, as he leaned over to close the door, it unexpectedly locked, leaving him stranded inside. India approached and knocked on the window, prompting Durk’s embarrassment as he struggled to locate the elusive unlock button. “I was like, ‘I don’t even know how to unlock the door!’ I tried to play it cool while frantically searching for the button, but I couldn’t find it!”

Durk further detailed the predicament, admitting that he had to enlist the help of others to extricate himself from the situation. “Before I let her in, I had to make some phone calls because this is the new one,” he confessed, fabricating an excuse about the car’s updated features to save face.

Despite Durk affectionately referring to India as his “wife,” it’s important to note that their relationship status has previously been a topic of discussion. While Durk publicly expressed his love for India in a Valentine’s Day message last year, indicating a deep emotional connection, India’s subsequent social media posts hinted at potential discord, with her expressing frustration over perceived boundary violations and unwanted attention.
