Renowned rapper Ice Cube has expanded his highly popular Straight Into Canada tour with additional dates, including a stop in Ottawa.

As a former member of the iconic hip hop supergroup N.W.A., the American rapper will take the stage at TD Place on May 4, joined by opening acts Xzibit, Merkules, Peter Jackson, and DJ Kav.

Regular tickets for the Ottawa show will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, with a 12-hour presale kicking off at 10 a.m. on Thursday (access code: CUBE). For ticketing details, visit icecube.com.

Since departing from N.W.A., Ice Cube has carved out a successful solo music career, launched a 3-on-3 basketball league, and established himself as a prominent actor. His most recent film role was as Superfly in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

Fans can anticipate the release of Ice Cube’s eleventh solo album, titled Man Down, expected to drop this summer.

The Canadian leg of the tour commenced on Wednesday in Penticton, B.C., and will traverse the country before concluding in Laval, Que., on May 10.
